Tricia Hurst, attorney of Plevin & Gallucci Company, L.P.A., is a workers’ compensation and administrative defense lawyer based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Tricia Hurst is an attorney and a native of Cincinnati. She grew up in a trade union family in a working-class neighborhood and was the first in her family to obtain a college degree. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, she worked throughout college to pay for her education, and after graduation, she worked at WLWT-Cincinnati as part of the directing team and was a member of the IBEW.
Tricia then earned her J.D. at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where she was a two-year member of C-M’s distinguished Moot Court team and a reporter for the school paper. She brought former Cincinnati Mayor Jerry Springer to C-M to take part in a day-long panel discussion about public service.
During law school, Tricia clerked at a medical malpractice firm, where she began building her knowledge of the medical aspects of workers’ compensation. She became a workers’ compensation claimant litigation attorney and then an administrative defense attorney. She has returned to her working-class roots by representing injured workers.
Tricia enjoys working in her garden, reading, cooking with her husband, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
